SOUTH SOCIAL MEETS TUNISIA

22nd September 2018 Theatre Peckham
An acclaimed and extremely talented oud player, RIHAB AZAR, will be performing a captivating solo gig. ​Rihab was born to a great musical family, her father, luthier Samir Azar made her first oud and started teaching her when she was 7 years old. In 2014, she became the first woman oudist to perform accompanied by the Syrian National Orchestra for Arabic Music. She has performed at various iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and St. Paul’s Cathedral. 

SOUTH SOCIAL MEETS LATIN AMERICA

Brixton Cumbia Association, are a fun, energetic collective recreating the best songs from their native Argentina. Nirk Molina Vallenato King, is a shining light of the Colombian vallenato London scene, with his fusion of pop vocals and traditional music of the Colombian rural people. He embodies the very soul of Latin America Vallenato, which originated in the Valle de Upar in northeastern Colombia.
21 April 2018 Theatre Peckham
The musician EERA, aka ANNA LENA BRULAND, the alternative rock artist will perform live an awesome solo gig. Her much-acclaimed ‘EERA’ EP, whose eerie, atmospheric sound earned favourable comparisons with  Lana del Rey and  PJ Harvey. 

SOUTH SOCIAL MEETS GREECE

3rd February 2018 Theatre Peckham
A merry go round of music with Perastiki (Passersby), part of SOAS Rebetiko band, a collective of musicians aiming to bring Greek folk and popular music to London’s music scene.
